Imported Provisions

You may prefer to use one of the standard yacht provisioning specialists e.g. National Marine Suppliers, Yacht Chandlers, etc for your provisions. If this is the case, you will need a local agent to land, clear & transport your shipment to the yacht and we are just the agent to do so!

Imported Provisions Overview

Although we offer a full provisioning service, including sourcing items abroad from our own foreign suppliers, you may prefer to use one of the standard yacht provisioning specialists e.g. National Marine Suppliers, Yacht Chandlers, Ocean Pantry, Superyacht Supplies, SNAP Provisions or others for your provisions. If this is the case, you will need a local agent to land, clear & transport your shipment to the yacht and we are just the agent to do so! We have established relationships with all of the above companies, and more, and would be happy to work along with you and your chosen supplier.

You will need to contact your preferred foreign provisioner directly to put in your order and once your order is placed, kindly send us a courtesy copy of your entire order, at least 5 working days BEFORE the shipment arrives in Grenada. This is because if you are importing any meat, fish, seafood, produce (fruits and vegetables), or flowers we will need to apply for certain local licenses / permits to import these items. Most of these licenses are free, but require paperwork and legwork, which take time, so please give us as much advance notice as possible. We need to know what is in the order so we know which permits to apply for.

Also, if you have any produce (fruits & vegetables) and flowers in your order, a phytosanitary certificate is required for importation into Grenada and our company name - Superyacht Services (Gda) Ltd. - MUST be included on the phytosanitary certificate. Your preferred supplier will take care of the phytosanitary certificate for you but you must let your supplier know that Superyacht Services (Gda) Ltd. is your agent in Grenada who will be receiving the order, so that they can include our company’s name on the phytosanitary certificate and, of course, they will also know who to consign the shipment to. (Please see our Contact Information for our Shipping Address). Once the order is shipped we will also need to have a copy of the Invoice and the Airway Bill for Customs clearance purposes so if you can kindly put us in contact with your supplier we could liaise with them beforehand to make sure your shipment lands and is cleared without any delays.

Of course, you can also use some of the above companies for your galley / interior ware and for your yacht spares / parts. We again, as your agent in Grenada, can land, clear & transport these shipments direct to your yacht. Please see our page on Parts Procurement & Courier Service.

Are there any items that you would like us to source and fly in for you, even difficult-to-source items? We are up for the challenge!
